David Menzies

David Menzies is Director of Practice at ICAS providing strategic leadership and management to ensure practitioners receive appropriate guidance, advice, and support. He works with both internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen support and representation on key issues, ensuring ICAS can influence policy, practice and legislation effectively.

Previously, David was an insolvency practitioner and partner at firms ranging from Scottish independents to national mid-tiers, with extensive experience in personal and corporate appointments, restructuring, and advisory work.

Outside of work David is an internationally qualified commissaire (referee) for cycle racing on the road and track and is regularly appointed to races throughout the world up to and including world championships, Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
